Koizumi fills three key party posts, keeps gov't spokesman

TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows leading contenders for the ruling Liberal Democratic Party's (LDP) three top posts and the post of top government spokesman expected to be named by newly elected LDP President Junichiro Koizumi. Taku Yamasaki (top L), is expected to be LDP secretary general and Taro Aso (top R) is tapped to become chairman of the party's policy-making Policy Research Council. Mitsuo Hoiruchi (bottom L) is poised to head the party's decision-making General Council while Yasuo Fukuda is to retain the post of chief cabinet secretary.
